In addition to the objects of the permanent exhibition, there is a large number of objects unavailable to the visitors of the museum, because of the lack of space, although these objects are also valuable and rare. Exceptions have only been made when organizing special exhibitions, which are related to the certain period of time or certain theme.<\/p>\n

Objects from the Collection of Photographs, Numismatic, Natural and Lapidary collections are not presented in the permanent exhibition of the museum.<\/p>\n

Collection of photographs<\/h3>\n

There are photos from 1908 with themes of Berane and Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery, then photos from the period between the two world wars, from World War II, and from the first post-war decade- from the time of \u2018\u2019restoration and reconstruction of the country\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Objects from this collection are diverse and represent an evidence of all areas of life from both war and peace time in Berane, mainly during the first half of the 20th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n

Numismatic collection<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Founded at the same time as the museum. It consists of 2,488 items. Those are mainly monetary units from the 19th<\/sup> and 20th<\/sup> century, as well as the rare individual coins from the older times, such as: coins of Philip V of Macedon (221-170 BC), Sigmund III Threepenny (Poland) from 1603, and 1 thaler of Ferdinand II (Hungary) from 1636.<\/p>\n

Natural collection<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Consists of 17 items in total. Those are mostly plant and animal fossil remains found in the territory of the municipality of Berane. The items have never been paleontologically processed, so there are no reliable data on the type of fossil remains and their age.<\/p>\n

Plant fossils are found on the marlstone in the form of prints of parts of leaves and stems of different species of higher plants.<\/p>\n
